Meet the Alpacas
Severn Valley Alpaca Boys:
Eddie:
I am a male alpaca, I was born 7th June 2010, and I am a huacaya alpaca. My dad was a light fawn and my mum was a mid-brown/white, I am black and white. I used to live at Dunsley Hall Hotel in Kinver, Staffordshire. When my human mummy became unwell I went to live at Severn Valley Alpacas with my friends Bert & Gary. Unfortunately, our dear friend Garry passed away in December 2020.
I am part of the trekking team, I love going out for walks and meeting all of our lovely guests, I can be a little mischievous at times; mummy says I am greedy, as I’m always first at the feed trough!
Bert:I am a male alpaca, I was born 27th May 2010, and I am a huacaya alpaca. My dad was a Black alpaca and my mum was a light brown/light fawn, I am light brown and white. I used to live at Dunsley Hall Hotel in Kinver, Staffordshire. When my human mummy became unwell I went to live at Severn Valley Alpacas with my friends Eddie & Gary.
I am also part of the trekking team. I’m a very friendly alpaca and I love meeting all of our guests and being photographed.
Trevor:
I am a male alpaca, I was born 22d June 2015, and I am a huacaya alpaca. My dad was a white alpaca and my mum was a white alpaca, I am solid beige. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my friend Dave.
I am also part of the trekking team, I can be a little mischievous at times and mum says I have attitude! And I love a good roll about on the dirt patch with my friend Dave!
Dave:I am a male alpaca, I was born 29th June 2015, and I am a huacaya alpaca. My dad was a mid-fawn alpaca and my mum was a dark fawn alpaca, I am a white alpaca. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my friend Trevor.
I am the smallest male alpaca and very cute, I am also part of the trekking team. Mum says I am a kind & gentle soul. I am also a very calm and placid boy and love meeting lots of guests and always look forward to visitors!
Archie:
I am a male alpaca, I was born 12th July 2017, and I am a suri alpaca. My dad was a solid light brown alpaca and my mum was a solid mid brown alpaca, and I am a solid mid brown alpaca. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my best buddy Aladdin.
I am also part of the trekking team, I am very cute and have big ears mum says I am adorable! I love sunbathing and love taking a shower when it is hot I’m always hanging out with Aladdin who is my brother from another mother!
Aladdin:I am a male alpaca, I was born 10th June 2017, and I am a suri alpaca. My dad was a solid light brown alpaca and my mum was a solid mid brown alpaca, and I am a solid dark brown alpaca. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my best buddy Archie.
I am also part of the trekking team, my mum says my fibre is glossy and shiny. I love my field shelter especially when dad has filled it up with delicious home grown hay! My brother Archie and I love each other.
Chase:. I am a male alpaca, I was born 12th August 2018 and I am a Suri alpaca. My dad was Little Acres Griffin a Solid Mid Brown alpaca and my mum Little Acres Star a solid Beige alpaca and she lives here!. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my buddys Goldie and Barry.
I am a little slow at doing things.I need lots of time to learn new things. I am not part of the tracking herd yet as I am taking my time to get to know things. Mum says its okay and that we are all different I am of course very cute.
I like meeting our guest in a quiet pen where I don’t feel intimidated. Mum says I am just perfect for anyone who is a bit anxious. I am a slow eater so I have my feeds with my new pal Dave. He is a slow eater too. Dave’s famous you know he does the weather forecast.
Goldie:. I am a male alpaca, I was born 20th June 2021 and I am a Suri alpaca. My dad was Houghton Chancellor a Light Fawn Suri alpaca and my mum was Little Acres Poppy a solid Mid Fawn Suri . I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my buddy's Chase and Brother Barry.
I am a yungster and of course very cute. I came second in a Show at the nationals. I am very vocal, I like to be heard. I adore food and get very excited. I like people too and I like to have a chat with them. Some times I am a bit too boisterous and Bert our herd leader has to tell me off. I am always first in line when mum or Dad comes with our food.
I am now fully trained and walking on all types of our treks and I am especially good walking with my friends that visit with mobility challenges and special needs.
Barry:
Barry I am a male alpaca, I was born 8th August 2021 and I am a Suri alpaca. My dad was Houghton Chancellor a Light Fawn Suri alpaca and my mum was Bozedown Tobasco a solid Mid Brown Suri Alpaca and I am Goldie's brother! I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my buddy Chase and my brother Goldie.
I am a youngster , and of course very cute. I am quite vocal, like my brother Goldie but not so loud as Goldie!. I adore food and get very excited. I like people too and I like to have a chat with them. Some times I follow Goldie and he gets me into trouble for being a bit too boisterous and Bert our herd leader has to tell me off. I am always race Goldie to be first in line when mum or Dad comes with our food.
I am now fully trained and a member of the trekking gang!.I am especially clever as i am the chief walker for all mobility challenged and special needs friends who come to visit me, I am gentle, kind and a great listener!

Severn Valley Alpaca Girls:
Sienna:
I am a female alpaca, I was born 25th April 2014, and I am a Suri alpaca. My dad was a solid black alpaca and my mum was a solid white alpaca, and I am a solid beige alpaca. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my half-sister Star. We were the first female additions to the breeding herd.
My mum says I’m a very pretty alpaca with a smooth white face and I’m a very caring mother to Isla and Elsa. Our entertainment during the day is watching the boys play all of their silly games!
Star:
I am a female alpaca, I was born 12th May 2015, and I am a suri alpaca. My dad was a solid black alpaca and my mum was a solid white alpaca, and I am a solid beige alpaca. I moved to Severn Valley Alpacas with my best friend Sienna. We were the first additions to the breeding herd.
My mum says I’m a kind and gentle alpaca and a lovely mother to Luna. We love meeting our guests and showing off our new cria (alpaca Babies). I love just chilling out with my half-sister Sienna.
Luna:
I am a female alpaca, I was born 29th August 2019, and I am a Suri alpaca. Born to Star, My dad was a solid black alpaca and my mum Star who lives here is a solid white alpaca, and I am a solid beige alpaca. I was the first born cria at Severn Valley Alpacas.
My mum says I was super cute and have grown up to be a beautiful young lady and the image of my mum Star.
Isla:
I am a female alpaca, I was born 6th May 2020, and I am a Suri alpaca. Born to Sienna, my dad was Houghton Chancellor and my mum is a solid white alpaca called Sienna who lives here! , I am a suri beige alpaca. I was the Second born cria at Severn Valley Alpacas. I now have a full sister called Elsa. My half brothers Goldie and Barry live here too! although they are naughty boy alpacas!
My mum says I am also super cute and have grown up to be a beautiful young lady like my mum Star. I have a smooth white face like my mummy sienna I am mostly white with a light brown beauty spot on my back.
Elsa:
I am a female alpaca, I was born 1st August 2021, and I am a suri alpaca. Born to Sienna, my dad was Houghton Chancellor, and my mum is a solid white alpaca called Sienna and lives here! and I am a solid beige alpaca. I was the third born cria at Severn Valley Alpacas. I am a full sister to Isla. My half brothers Goldie and Barry live here too! although they are naughty boy alpacas!
My mum says I am a very curious baby, I run around the paddocks all day, chasing birds, playing with my sister Isla and my auntie Luna. I am very happy and do lots of special dancing called pronking.
